The Caja Rural de Jaén Foundation informs you that the jury for the 14th La Rural Plastic Arts Prize met on May 12 and decided to award the following prizes, as well as the 13 artist grants provided for in the competition rules. The first prize was awarded to Alejandro Botubol Bolaños for the work Gran canasto de pensamientos (Great basket of thoughts). Oil on canvas, 150 x 180 cm. The second prize went to Marta Beltrán for Corazón Salvaje (Wild Heart). Acrylic, Indian ink and coloured inks on paper, 183 x 128 cm. In addition, 13 more works were selected to be exhibited in this exhibition and which will receive a financial grant of €250 as artist fees.
