14. Rafael Perez Hernando Gallery
The Rafael Pérez Hernando gallery opened for the first time in 1996 in Madrid and moved to Calle Orellana 18 in 2004, where it began a line of exhibitions featuring emerging artists and established painters. 15. Marlborough
Marlborough Gallery was founded in Madrid in 1992 under the direction of Pierre Levai, who joined the firm in 1964 and was appointed President of Marlborough New York from 1978. The gallery's famous inaugural exhibition showcased the last ten years of Francis Bacon's work. This was the last solo exhibition organised during the artist's lifetime.
