The A&G Art Prize is consolidated and the IV Edition begins

Following the positive reception of the first three editions, A&G is now calling for applications for the 4th Edition of the A&G Art Prize , which aims to continue supporting the production and dissemination of the work of emerging Spanish artists.
He A&G Award will select one winner and five finalists , whose works will be exhibited for a year, with options for sale to the public, in the offices of A&G. This award also represents a €6,000 prize money for the winning work which will become part of the firm's collection . This edition will once again feature the collaboration of Arte Global, a firm specialising in international art consultancy, dedicated to art collecting and cultural management projects.
According to Alberto Rodriguez-Fraile, President of A&G, This award “ is an opportunity to boost the professional career of artists at the beginning of their careers, as well as to discover and recognise the value of their works. We are very proud of the consolidation of this award, which is now in its fourth edition, and which each year presents us with a new opportunity to show our commitment to art and culture .”
Interested parties can consult the rules of the Award at www.ayg.es/actualidad and they have a deadline for the presentation of applications from May 16 to July 1 , while the jury's verdict will take place on September 12th . The Award decision The selection process will be carried out by a jury of 11 members who are all closely related to the art world in different ways: Luis Chillida, Ana Serratosa, Chus Pedrosa, Elisa Hernando, Isabel Alonso, Isabel Ballesteros, León Benelbas, Lucía Ybarra, Mónica Riberas, Pedro Sendagorta and María Eugenia Rodríguez Fraile.
The winner of the first prize will be able to exhibit a total of three works The winning work and two more chosen by A&G after the jury's decision will be displayed in A&G's client rooms for one year. The five finalists will exhibit their work two works each , the finalist work and another that A&G will choose from their repertoire.
In the three previous calls, more than 100 applications were received in each of them. award-winning artists with the A&G Art Award have been Maillo in 2021 , Ruben Rodrigo in 2022 and Diego Beneitez in 2023 .
This award is part of A&G's social commitment, which recently also exhibited outside its offices the artistic installation “Take Over Madrid”, created by Andrés Reisinger in the context of the ARCO Fair.
