Biografía del Artista: Debbie Reda was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1976 and lives and works in Madrid, Spain. Recording the influence of Art Brut, drawing and painting in her childhood, the phenomenon of repetition appears in her abstract work, citing repetitive exercises when learning to draw as a child. Her "Monster Collection" is her Figurative Series that defines her cartoonish visual style as a Neo-pop Children's Art. The characters reflect humor and irony, different moods and circumstances of everyday life. Exploring his own childhood memories, particularly his relationship with his grandfather, his work cites the games, toys, the playground and dreams of a child, discovering and seeing the world as if for the first time. His recognizable characters have their own story. They are monsters who came to earth on an expedition and fell in love with nature and humans. Since then, they try to understand and imitate humans, until they become similar to each other. They are unaware of negative feelings, always with a great sense of humor, positive thoughts and with innocence they discover the world for the first time, and playing is the best way to do it. Debbie Reda is an internationally recognized artist. Her work is featured in collections around the world. In October 2021, she was part of the Honorable Hall at the WWA Art Fair in Shanghai, ranked by votes of Chinese collectors as one of the most modern artists in the world.
