Biografía del Artista: She received a scholarship as an artistic engraver from the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre in Madrid. Her latest scholarships include the Fine Arts Scholarship of the Province of Valladolid, the Bólit Centre d´Art Contemporani and Ema Contemporary Engraving Residency in Girona, and a Scholarship for artists from the Castilla y León Artist Book Fair, among others. He has received several awards, including the Carmen Arozena International Graphic Art Award, the José Caballero Engraving Competition, the EAC Awards, and the Open Portfolio Award at the FIG Bilbao International Engraving Fair.The Hours encompasses various graphic creative processes that act against the symbolism proposed by our patriarchal visual imaginary. The chosen title recovers the name of these mythological divinities that promoted fertility and embodied the passage of time for men. Each engraving in the series is part of a specific hour that symbolizes the passage of time of these harmful stereotypes subscribed to women. The Hours recover a feminine posture inspired by engravings where the rise of the burin technique and counter-grain engraving configured an aesthetic in the representation of allegories, transferred to our culture through different visual channels, as well as by its continuous symbolic and allegorical references to women as natural entities. This series aims to raise awareness about artistic practice when it comes to representing and acting as an educational catalyst in our vision through images, thus generating an analysis of the social and cultural codes that affect our daily lives.

Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
- Mantener las obras de arte alejadas de la luz directa del sol y de cualquier otra fuente de calor (calefacción, aire acondicionado, etc.) Evitar colgar las obras cerca de zonas con humo y contaminación (como chimeneas o cocinas). Te aconsejamos proteger los cuadros con un marco de cristal.
- Evitar las alteraciones bruscas de temperatura. Se recomienda conservar las obras pictóricas en zonas con temperatura ambiente de entre 18-20º y un 50% de humedad relativa.
- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
