Biografía del Artista: Beatriz Vázquez is a Spanish painter, who uses in her abstract landscape painting the psychology of color and her natural environment in Asturias (rural area of ​​northern Spain), as a constantly evolving source of inspiration. Beatriz received a classical education at the University of Fine Arts in her hometown of Seville in southern Spain. Creativity has been present in her daily life from a very young age, always interested in drawing and looking at images in art books. Her paintings speak to us of the notions of abstraction, as well as the colour palette of realist painters, such as Antonio López García. However, the painter employs strokes of delicate and neutral tones, and layers of acrylic and oil, which reveal traces of the memory of her reflection on the world, in a sensitive and egoless way. Working on large canvases, with acrylic and oil paint, Beatriz uses her research in colour psychology to give her works a sensorial effect: the harmonious tones of the work connect her audience with the landscape she creates in each painting. The texture is built through gestural marks that imprint the canvas, indicative of the time and thought that she pours into each of her pieces. He has been a finalist in several contemporary painting awards and regularly exhibits and sells his work to a clientele both nationally and internationally: the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and the United States.

This is a colorful floral oil painting on canvas, that represents plants and roses in an abstract garden. My aim is to bring aesthetic and beautiful, nature inspired art for your walls in your home. I am inspired by the changes that light makes in the landscape. I am lucky to live surrounded by nature, and I find it an endless source of inspiration for my studio work. My approach to painting is slow and gentle. Although in some part of the process, I let the brush become bold and gestural. You can see textured marks on the canvas that suggest something organic and fluidity. Layers of oils with colored pigments are integral to my imagery and process. It is signed, very discreetly, at the bottom right corner on the front. I have used oil painting on a stretched canvas with wide sides of 3.5cm that are also painted, so it does not need to be framed as it hangs beautifully as it is. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. Thank you!
