Elsa Paricio - My house 2021
Biografía del Artista: She is a visual artist from the field of drawing and illustration, whose practice brings together art, literature, science and collecting. In her work she explores the multiple meanings that come from confronting images and texts and underlines the relationships between drawing, time and landscape. The intense analytical vocation that characterizes her work and makes it deeply reflective is the same that makes her artistic process become a mechanism with which to rationalize the thoughts and impulses that arise in her spontaneously. After graduating in graphic design and engraving from the Fundación Real Casa de la Moneda (2006), she was artistic assistant to Rodolfo Llópiz (Cuba, 1966), Andrea Sunder-Plassmann (Germany, 1959) and William Cordova (Lima, 1971). Since 2014, she has exhibited in collective exhibitions at institutions such as Tabacalera (Madrid, 2014), Museo Carmen Thyssen (Málaga, 2014), Casa Velázquez (Madrid, 2015), INJUVE / Sala Amadís (Madrid, 2017), among others. In addition, in 2010 she received the Fundación Arte y Derecho and VEGAP Award for her artistic production; later, in 2018, she received an honorable mention at the Pilar Juncosa and Sotheby's Biennial Publishing Award.
