‘We wove the time’
Like a tapestry of fragments that converge in the gallery from different directions, Nosotras tejiendo el tiempo brings together for the occasion works by Ana Esteve Llorens (Valencia, 1975), Chingsum Jessye Luk (Hong Kong, 1982) and Pamen Pereira (Ferrol, 1963), curated by Ricardo Forriols, who through different and distant practices, allow us to approach the conformation of the story as a fabric, as that “text” that is more related to the way of weaving the threads, the fibers, and of plowing the land, ordering the field, than with the result of the action of writing or what is written; a perpetual weaving like the intertwined forms that arise organically and mathematically in nature and the same way in which we get entangled with our memories, going through the record of the days and nights that is life, which is also made by unraveling between oblivion and memory.
