Na roda

3 + 1 Contemporary Art has the pleasure of presenting Na Roda, a solo exhibition by Gabriela Machado (Joinville, Brazil, 1960).

Marked by the strength of the body and by the landscapes and environments that pass through it, Gabriela Machado's paintings are an ephemeral moment where areas of color transport places and experiences.

In Na Roda, the artist presents a set of paintings that pursue movement and time. In the exhibition we can find large-scale paintings, with spots the size of a complete human body, and also a core of works where we can find a memory of brightness and colors on the canvas. They are fragments of a time when the streets on the other side of the sea were overwhelmed by rhythm, light and brightness. They are paintings in transit, contaminated by the brightness of the bustle.
