‘Tutto Brossa: Life luggage’

The Miguel Marcos Gallery is pleased to invite you to the new exhibition by Joan Brossa (Barcelona, 1919-1998), Tutto Brossa: luggage of life.

Brossa's suitcase and its contents are rather like the luggage of a traveling magician who unfolds himself to provide an astonishing vision. It is art with play, with irony, with humor, with expectation, but it is also reflection, critical awareness, respect for the spectator. It is not for nothing that Enrico Mascelloni, in his text for the portfolio, called him: "one of the few true magicians of contemporary visual culture."
