The Fernando Pradilla gallery presents for the first time the work of the outstanding Portuguese artist Pedro Calapez (Lisbon, 1951) individually. Under the title "With a cloud in the middle" a selection of paintings on canvas, paper and aluminium is brought together, the result of the work developed by the artist over the last eight months. We witness the world of abstraction that Calapez builds from the strong oppositions between the formal elements of painting, the structure of the supports and the search for the displacement of the viewer's gaze.
