Biografía del Artista: Regine Schumann estudió arte en el Hochschule für Bildende Künste de Braunschweig de 1982 a 1989. En 1989 se formó con el pintor Roland Dörfler. Entre 1986 y 1994 fue miembro del grupo de artistas Freiraum, jutno con Frank Fuhrmann y Dieter Hinz. Además de varios encargos para obras públicas, ha recibido numerosas becas, incluyendo la beca DAAD para Italia en 1990 y una estancia en Jápón financiada por el estado del Rin del Norte-Westfalia en el año 2000.
