Biografía del Artista: Juan del Junco is a Spanish artist born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1972, whose work focuses on sculpture, installation and drawing. His work is characterized by the use of diverse materials such as wood, metal, glass and stone, which he manipulates and transforms into complex and abstract forms. Since his beginnings in the art world, Juan del Junco has been recognized for his ability to build works that generate a unique aesthetic experience in the viewer. His pieces are the result of rigorous research on form, space and movement, and their interaction with the environment that surrounds them. The artist has been inspired by different elements for the creation of his works, from nature to geometry and architecture, and in them we can appreciate references to both minimalism and conceptual art. In his work, Juan del Junco explores themes such as perception, identity, space and time, always from an innovative perspective and with a constant concern for formal and conceptual research. His work has been exhibited in numerous national and international galleries and museums, such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the CAAC in Seville, the Museo Patio Herreriano in Valladolid, the Museum of Fine Arts in Santander, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, among others.
