Biografía del Artista: Beatriz Vázquez is a Spanish painter, who uses in her abstract landscape painting the psychology of color and her natural environment in Asturias (rural area of northern Spain), as a constantly evolving source of inspiration. Beatriz received a classical education at the University of Fine Arts in her hometown of Seville in southern Spain. Creativity has been present in her daily life from a very young age, always interested in drawing and looking at images in art books. Her paintings speak to us of the notions of abstraction, as well as the colour palette of realist painters, such as Antonio López García. However, the painter employs strokes of delicate and neutral tones, and layers of acrylic and oil, which reveal traces of the memory of her reflection on the world, in a sensitive and egoless way. Working on large canvases, with acrylic and oil paint, Beatriz uses her research in colour psychology to give her works a sensorial effect: the harmonious tones of the work connect her audience with the landscape she creates in each painting. The texture is built through gestural marks that imprint the canvas, indicative of the time and thought that she pours into each of her pieces. He has been a finalist in several contemporary painting awards and regularly exhibits and sells his work to a clientele both nationally and internationally: the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and the United States. The PENSIVE oil painting on stretched linen represents a moment of introspection during one's own behavior, thoughts, desires or emotions. As inspiration I have used the landscape of the rural area where my studio is in northern Spain. I have worked with a subtle and aesthetic color palette, and I am hoping for the viewer to feel connected with the image as well as enjoy the laborious brush work through out the whole painting. PLEASE NOTE: - FRAMING is AVAILABLE upon request as I work closely with a local framer atelier. - This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity. - The artwork is signed on the back. - It is wired on the back, so it is ready to hang once you receive it. - It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
- Mantener las obras de arte alejadas de la luz directa del sol y de cualquier otra fuente de calor (calefacción, aire acondicionado, etc.) Evitar colgar las obras cerca de zonas con humo y contaminación (como chimeneas o cocinas). Te aconsejamos proteger los cuadros con un marco de cristal.
- Evitar las alteraciones bruscas de temperatura. Se recomienda conservar las obras pictóricas en zonas con temperatura ambiente de entre 18-20º y un 50% de humedad relativa.
- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
