"A bird does not sing because it has an answer"

Escif and Otto 183 will open the Drawing Cabinet season with the exhibition “A bird does not sing because it has an answer”
“In this exhibition Nacho makes drawings that Otto intervenes in.
In this exhibition Otto makes drawings that Nacho intervenes.
In this exhibition, the first chords sound. It is a four-handed piano concert and “a bird does not sing because it has an answer” in this almost musical landscape. There is no score. There are two. A kind of graphic sound correspondence between two forces that dialogue from impulse at times, from restraint perhaps. There is jazz. The strokes of one seem to replicate the direction of the wind. The scenes of another almost fit within the climatic landscape. The dialogue takes place within different panoramas: Otto produces atmospheres to which Nacho acclimatizes, and Nacho provokes places over which Otto spreads a breeze. The air moves everything and everything moves the air. The inevitable relationship between color and form and form and color leads us to observe the effects that everything has on everything. We attend the first letters: the father writes to the son, the son writes to the father, not because they have an answer.” Teresa Juan
