Words from the artist: “The fire crackles in the fireplace one more afternoon in the comfortable room of the gentlemen's club, where everything is reminiscence and commemoration of less peaceful deeds. The regulars have barely left, leaving behind the remains of small celebratory rituals, when the water begins to make its presence felt. For almost two hours we see the space flood; slowly but inexorably chaos takes over. Objects submerge and disappear, or float in disorder, the immutable is altered, and water finally serves as a reflection of the man in love with himself.”
