Biografía del Artista: Angela CuadraMadrid, 1978---Angela CuadraÁngela Cuadra investigates images that deal with concealment techniques used throughout recent history, in a broad phenomenological study of invisibility. By examining the tensions between the natural and the artificial, the public and the private, the whole and the parts, the essential and the superfluous, the artist uses a material with pre-existing historical and semantic loads to reconvert and resignify it. Based on collage and approached from intuition, her works induce compositions in which the found material is barely elaborated, with the forms themselves taking center stage through their juxtaposition to other materials. The special focus on the dialogue between fragments, on the emotion that arises when finding chords of color, shape or texture, makes the perception of her work similar to that of a musical composition. Making language without literature, making music without melody, making painting without painting. Making by building from the base of what is given, from what is found on the margins. She has exhibited at the Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M), Centro de Arte Joven, Centro Cultural Conde Duque and CentroCentro, in Madrid; Today Museum, in Beijing; Centro del Carmen, Valencia; SantAndreu Contemporani, Barcelona; Fundación Cultural de Providencia, Providencia (Chile); Fundación María José Jové, A Coruña; Centro Galegode Arte Contemporánea (CGAC), Santiago de Compostela; International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC), Ljubljana; Frans Masereel Centrum (FMC), Kasterlee (Belgium); International Print Triennial Society in Krakow (SMTG), Krakow; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMSU), Rijeka (Croatia) and Foundation Tallinn Print Triennial (TPT), Tallinn.This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authenticating value of the artwork. The certificate may be signed by the author of the artwork, by the representative gallery, or by the engraver who collaborated with the artist on the artwork.
The information that a certificate of authenticity usually includes is: name of the artist, details of the work (title, date, support, dimensions) and an image of it.
Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
- Mantener las obras de arte alejadas de la luz directa del sol y de cualquier otra fuente de calor (calefacción, aire acondicionado, etc.) Evitar colgar las obras cerca de zonas con humo y contaminación (como chimeneas o cocinas). Te aconsejamos proteger los cuadros con un marco de cristal.
- Evitar las alteraciones bruscas de temperatura. Se recomienda conservar las obras pictóricas en zonas con temperatura ambiente de entre 18-20º y un 50% de humedad relativa.
- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
