Since 1989, PALMADOTZE has based its programming on the promotion of contemporary art, through alternating exhibitions of young artists and the display of recent works by major exponents of Catalan, Spanish and international art from the second avant-garde to the present day.

PALMADOTZE collaborates with institutions and companies in the Penedès area to carry out public artistic initiatives, and schedules activities (lectures, concerts, dance, theatre, or poetry recitals) through which it is linked to the cultural and festive events of the region. In 2019 it moved from Vilafranca del Penedès to a 15th century farmhouse in Santa Margarida and els Monjos. Motivated by the need to reinvent itself, it proposes new formulas for the dissemination and promotion of contemporary art that bring particularity and dynamism to its exhibition programme. The uniqueness of the region allows it to highlight the connection between "Art/Landscape/Wine" through the similarities and parallels existing between respect for nature, inseparable from winemaking, and the creation processes.
