Salvador Dalí - Surreal Caballero (Tribute to Velázquez)
Técnica: Lithography
Biografía del Artista: Salvador Dalí was one of the most influential and iconic artists of the 20th century. Born in Figueres, Spain, in 1904, Dalí studied at the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid before moving to Paris in 1926, where he became part of the Surrealist movement. His distinctive artistic style, which included distorted shapes, dreamlike objects, and incongruous symbols, became his signature and earned him international recognition. During his career, Dalí produced a wide range of works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, and theatrical designs. Some of his most famous works include "The Persistence of Memory," which features soft clocks, and "The Temptation of Saint Anthony," a surrealist masterpiece filled with symbolic imagery. Throughout his life, Dalí became an eccentric and flamboyant figure in popular culture, thanks to his eccentric public appearances and controversial statements. Dalí also worked with filmmakers such as Luis Buñuel on films such as Un Chien Andalou and L'Age d'Or. Dalí died in Figueres in 1989, but his legacy lives on. Today, his works can be found in art collections around the world, and his influence on popular culture is still evident in fashion, music and film. This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity.
