‘Landscapes that breathe’
The exhibition – within our cycle on the landscape – brings together photographs and sculptures by Verónica Vicente, Eva Díez and the artist duo Moreno & Grau, in a project that starts from nature to compose interior landscapes as forms of reflection and introspection. What forms mould us, how many layers constitute us and through what fissures can we explore ourselves? These are questions that the artists explore and reflect on, who, from a sensitive approach, show small details that allude to almost hidden messages that they propose to listen to. From isolation and solitude, they oscillate between photography and sculpture with organic images that end up constituting the creators themselves, intertwined in this poetics of suggestion. Very carefully crafted compositions move the spectator with their minimal, even fragile details, generating a symbolism of slow forms with references to daydreaming and the sensorial world in general.
