Abraham Lacalle (Spain, 1962) is a Spanish artist. His artistic career began in the eighties and he currently has numerous collective and individual exhibitions in museums and galleries in Spain and New York mainly. Always fluctuating on the margins between the figurative and the abstract, the work of this Spanish painter impacts with the chromatic force of his works, his personal treatment of color and the gestural nature of his painting. His work is part of the collections of the Andalusian Center of Contemporary Art (Seville); the L'Oreal Collection (Madrid); Es Baluard Museum in Palma de Mallorca; Coca-Cola Foundation Spain; Santander Central Hispano Foundation (Madrid) and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), among others.
