Biografía del Artista: Born in Avilés, Asturias, in 1981, travel and discovering new places is an inspiring force in his work. Escayo holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and attended the National Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy. In 2011, he received a master's degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. Her work is present in museums, public and private collections. Escayo has been selected for many art residencies and has collaborated in international projects. She has had several solo and group exhibitions in Madrid, Asturias, Singapore, the Balkans, France and Portugal, among many other places. Escayo's paintings are produced in a wide range of forms, from small postcard formats to large wall-sized creations using acrylic, oil, ink and other media in combination. The paintings have a textured, collaged and vibrant energy. In these works, the natural world often interacts with the artist's world: explosions of colour, hidden text, line and space combine in an explosion of life. In addition to painting, Escayo also works with photography and new media. Since 2012, he has been actively exhibiting in Singapore and collaborating with local artists."In my painting I explore mixed techniques and new media to create vibrant works in which references to nature and landscape are often distinguished. I play with a hybridization of natural and cultural symbols and conceive the work as a harmonious magma of icons, abstract strokes, words and graphics. Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
- Mantener las obras de arte alejadas de la luz directa del sol y de cualquier otra fuente de calor (calefacción, aire acondicionado, etc.) Evitar colgar las obras cerca de zonas con humo y contaminación (como chimeneas o cocinas). Te aconsejamos proteger los cuadros con un marco de cristal.
- Evitar las alteraciones bruscas de temperatura. Se recomienda conservar las obras pictóricas en zonas con temperatura ambiente de entre 18-20º y un 50% de humedad relativa.
- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
