The work explores the myth of Medusa as a metaphor for personal perception and internal transformation. Medusa, represented with her faceless silhouette in green neon on a mirror, allows the viewer to reflect and confront their own image. This installation invites us to question the relationship between our identity and our fears, evoking the story of Medusa, a woman transformed into a monster by a mistake. By reflecting, the viewer becomes the protagonist, confronting the idea of carrying the monsters inside. However, we can use our image not to petrify ourselves in the past, but to recognize ourselves and change.This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authenticating value of the artwork. The certificate may be signed by the author of the artwork, by the representative gallery, or by the engraver who collaborated with the artist on the artwork.
The information that a certificate of authenticity usually includes is: name of the artist, details of the work (title, date, support, dimensions) and an image of it.
Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
