After studying at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, Miralda moved to Paris in 1966, where he became involved in the Fluxus movement and began working in collaborations with other artists. In 1971, he moved to New York, where he immersed himself in the performance art scene and worked on works involving food and ritual. In the 1980s, Miralda returned to Barcelona and began working on a series of works that focused on culinary culture and cultural identity. The installation included cultural artifacts from around the world and became a popular venue for the New York art and cultural scene. In recent years, Miralda has continued to work on food art projects around the world, and has been recognized for his influence on culinary culture and art. His work has been exhibited in major contemporary art museums around the world, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
