Biografía del Artista: Curro González is a Spanish contemporary artist born in Seville in 1960. He trained at the School of Fine Arts in Seville, where he studied painting and engraving. Throughout his artistic career, he has developed his own language and a great ability to combine elements of pop art, surrealism and abstract expressionism. In the 1980s, Curro González began to exhibit his works in galleries and museums throughout Spain, and his work became increasingly well-known and recognized in the artistic field. In the 1990s, his work evolved towards a more expressionist and gestural style, in which color and matter took on a leading role. In his work, González uses a wide variety of techniques and materials, such as oil, watercolor, collage, engraving and sculpture. His works are often populated by a series of characters that are repeated and transformed into different works, such as the "Fly Man" or the "Butterfly Woman". Throughout his career, Curro González has received numerous awards and recognitions, such as the National Prize for Plastic Arts in 2002 and the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 2006. Furthermore, his work is part of important public and private collections around the world, such as the collection of the Reina Sofía Art Center in Madrid. Today, Curro González continues to work in his studio in Seville and continues to exhibit his works in galleries and museums around the world. His work remains one of the most original and recognized on the contemporary Spanish art scene.This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
- Mantener las obras de arte alejadas de la luz directa del sol y de cualquier otra fuente de calor (calefacción, aire acondicionado, etc.) Evitar colgar las obras cerca de zonas con humo y contaminación (como chimeneas o cocinas). Te aconsejamos proteger los cuadros con un marco de cristal.
- Evitar las alteraciones bruscas de temperatura. Se recomienda conservar las obras pictóricas en zonas con temperatura ambiente de entre 18-20º y un 50% de humedad relativa.
- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
