Daniel Arsham - Hollow Mickey
Biografía del Artista: Daniel Arsham, born in 1980 in the United States, is a visual artist. Raised in Miami, Florida, he studied at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York, where he currently lives and works. The artist's quest is at the crossroads between art, architecture and performance. Eroded walls, landscapes crowning structures, Daniel Arsham plays with spaces of shapes and volumes, in a practice where playfulness has its place. Alongside his personal creations, the artist creates original collaborations with choreographer Merce Cunningham for which he has created a scene. Subsequently, the two artists realize performances all over the United States, France and Australia. Other collaborations with choreographers follow, notably with Jonah Bokaer, leading Daniel Arsham to the Avignon Festival, among others. In 2013, the artist has collaborated with Pharrell Williams, for which he recreates his first keyboard from volcanic ash.
