James Rhodes - Galicia IV
Biografía del Artista: James Rhodes (London, 1975), pianist and writer, has found a new form of expression in photography. A language revealed through which the gaze of a contemporary nomad can be discovered. Rhodes uses images to establish dialogues with the city that meets him. Thus, a variety of passers-by, anonymous familiar figures, architectures that generate astonishment and a few biographical references, compose a visual syntax that reflects his profound sensitivity and an instinctive way of relating to the world.
These photos are a selection of moments I've spent that have made me stop and see, really see and dedicate that small segment of time to both my memory and my memory card. Any moment that fills the camera's viewfinder also fills a little bit of my soul. Each photo leaves an echo of its own story, and somehow those stories have now become a small part of my own story and, just by looking at them, yours too.
