This series proposes a narrative of displacement and recontextualization by inserting elements of the landscape of the Valley of the Fallen into another divergent one such as the quarries of Alpedrete, the place where the raw material used in the construction of the monument is extracted. The choice of using the same materials used in the construction of the Valley of the Fallen as a support adds an additional layer of meaning to the work, with the rough texture and solidity of the Berroqueño granite now being the canvas for these dystopian representations. The series proposes a deep reflection on history, identity and the reinterpretation of symbols, opening a space for critical exploration of our relationship with collective memory and the visual representation of the past.
This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authenticating value of the artwork. The certificate may be signed by the author of the artwork, by the representative gallery, or by the engraver who collaborated with the artist on the artwork.
The information that a certificate of authenticity usually includes is: name of the artist, details of the work (title, date, support, dimensions) and an image of it.
Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:

- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
