Julius Bockelt - No title
Técnica: pen
Biografía del Artista: Julius Bockelt (Germany, 1949) is a self-taught artist who creates works through drawing and painting. His style falls within the realm of art brut or marginal art, characterized by the absence of academic training and spontaneous and instinctive creation. Bockelt creates his works in a trance-like state, letting his hand move freely across the paper or canvas, allowing him to create abstract forms that seem to emerge from his unconscious. His technique includes the application of multiple layers of paint and the creation of textures through the use of spatulas and other utensils. Despite his lack of academic training, Bockelt has gained recognition in the world of art brut, being exhibited in major galleries and museums in Europe and North America. In 2013, his work was selected to be part of the London Outsider Art Biennial. Bockelt's works have a strong symbolic and abstract content, allowing the viewer to interpret them in multiple ways. Her drawings and paintings are filled with organic and fluid forms that suggest an imaginary and dreamlike world. Through her art, Bockelt tries to explore the boundaries of her own consciousness and connect with a world beyond the visible. This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity.
