The artistic practice of Laura F. Gibellini is of a procedural and diagrammatic nature and is fundamentally formalized through drawing, site-specific installations, video, object creation or writing. Consideration of expanded drawing, as well as the abandonment of frontal, bounded and two-dimensional representation from traditional drawing in favor of immersive and “environmental” projects are found in the basis of their work. This begins by considering the notion of place and asking how we relate to the world, to move on to investigate what kind of conventions we use to represent it and for what purpose –what takes us from the intimacy of the domestic sphere to the territory and the environment. His most recent work investigates those elements that are found at the limits of the visible, in the limits of what is representable and therefore on the limits of what can be thought. In particular, it focuses in that which lacks a stable form and yet is basic to life (such as air, water, light or the meteorological or atmospheric conditions of certain places) and considers how the difficulties of representation affect our understanding of the world, since what remains unrepresentable does not can be recognized, and therefore thought. Gibellini's work explores the gaps of representation and the possibilities of thinking the unthinkable.This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authenticating value of the artwork. The certificate may be signed by the author of the artwork, by the representative gallery, or by the engraver who collaborated with the artist on the artwork.
The information that a certificate of authenticity usually includes is: name of the artist, details of the work (title, date, support, dimensions) and an image of it.
Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:

- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
