Biografía del Artista: Luis Royo was born in 1954 in Olalla, a small town in Teruel. As a child he moved to Zaragoza, where he studied Drawing, Painting, Decoration and Interior Design. From 1972 he began to paint pictures that he exhibited in various forums. In 1979 he began his career as a comic artist and soon became internationally successful. A sample of these works, published in the main magazines of the time, is compiled in the albums Luis Royo (Rambla, 1985) and Desfase (Ikusager, 1986). In 1983 she moved into illustration, where she would achieve her greatest success. She did so with the agency and Editorial Norma, which distributed her work throughout the world. In 1992 her first book, Women, was published, followed by Malefic (1994), Secrets (1996), III Millennium (1998), Dreams (1999), Prohibited Book (1999), Evolution (2001), Prohibited Book 2 (2001), Conceptions I (2002), Visions (2003), Prohibited Book 3 (2003), Conceptions II (2003). In addition to these titles, she has published six series of cards for collectors, five portfolios, posters and a tarot card entitled The Black Tarot. The growing popularity of her images means that they can also be seen on postcards, calendars, card games, T-shirts, record covers, video games, computer mousepads and even in some sculptures.
