Maíllo - Splendor and misery
Biografía del Artista: Maíllo is a contemporary artist born in Madrid in 1985. He has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and has been trained by important artists such as Luis Gordillo, Fernando Mastretta and Alberto Datas. Represented by the José Robles Gallery, Maíllo has held a solo exhibition entitled "Slight Flow". He has also been selected by Juan Ugalde to participate in the exhibition "¡A Vueltas con la Maldita Pintura!" at the Museo Colecciones ICO in Madrid. In addition, he has exhibited at the Colegio de España in Paris and at the Museum of Architecture and Design in Buenos Aires. Maíllo is also part of the Intransit platform and archive of creators. His work can be found in the Collection of the Colegio de España in Paris, the Complutense University of Madrid, the Honda Collection of Contemporary Painting, the Fundación deArte and the Fundación ICO. Maíllo stands out for his personal style, in which he experiments with different techniques and materials to create works full of color and movement.
