Biografía del Artista: Mar Arza is an artist born in Castelló de la Plana in 1976. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Valencia, with a period of study at the Carnegie Mellon School of Art in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) and a Master's in Sculpture at Winchester School of Art (Southampton University, England), with a scholarship from the Cañada-Blanch Foundation. Her artistic career has been recognized with several awards, including the Guasch-Coranty Prize at the Valls Biennial and the ArtsLibris Prize, awarded by the Fundació Banc Sabadell, both in 2013. In 2016 she received the Swab-Mango Prize for best young artist and in 2017 the DKV Prize for emerging artist for the best gallery exhibition with the exhibition RESQUICI O. Mar Arza's work is characterized by her interest in reflecting on space and the perception of power. In his solo exhibition RESQUICIO, at the Galería Rocío Santa Cruz in Barcelona, he explored the space of a blank page and the fold as writing, aiming for a supposedly conceptual art. In the solo exhibition at the Sala Miserachs in La Virreina, he conceived a three-way installation in which visibility conditions the perception of power. In his exhibition, Lecturas y consumos, at the Centre de Arte Santa Mònica, within the cycle Blanco bajo Negro, he showed the passage of time that leaves a mark in parallel to the passage of everyday life crossed by literature. Mar Arza is an emerging artist who has managed to stand out in the contemporary art world with her innovative work and her exploration of themes and concepts relevant to our current society. Recomendaciones para una conservación adecuada de las obras de arte:
- Mantener las obras de arte alejadas de la luz directa del sol y de cualquier otra fuente de calor (calefacción, aire acondicionado, etc.) Evitar colgar las obras cerca de zonas con humo y contaminación (como chimeneas o cocinas). Te aconsejamos proteger los cuadros con un marco de cristal.
- Evitar las alteraciones bruscas de temperatura. Se recomienda conservar las obras pictóricas en zonas con temperatura ambiente de entre 18-20º y un 50% de humedad relativa.
- Si se quiere iluminar la obra de forma permanente, aconsejamos utilizar focos de luz fría. Utilizar un plumero suave para la limpieza periódica de la obra. Nunca usar limpiador doméstico.
