Biografía del Artista: Behind the pseudonym of 'Mr. Doodle', is the English artist Sam Cox, who since childhood stood out with creative proposals, doodles that turned out to be the personal seal that has led him to distinguish himself in the world of graphic art. Born in 1994 in the city of Kent, in the United Kingdom. Sam Cox describes what he does as 'OCD -obsessive-compulsive drawing' (which is like a joke translated to 'obsessive compulsive drawing,' but it doesn't seem like it's such a joke). What began as a youthful scribbling on his textbooks and his parents' furniture, has become not only a professional career but an entire new universe called 'DoodleLand'. In interviews with the artist, it's hard to tell if he actually believes this place of white space and endless scribbling is another reality. Over the years Cox has gained renown, with clients including MTV, Adidas, Puma and Cass Art, working with people who clearly love what he calls "his growing drawing virus." Despite starting out with a seemingly simple idea - at its core his style is thick, black line drawing on white backgrounds - Cox has created a remarkably distinct style. His work is characterised by pure chaos: it's full of strange symbols, odd characters and complex scenes. Cox likens it to walking into a shop and gaping at the bombardment of images, shapes and letters on the shelves. The main aim is for the audience to spend time deciphering his scribbles. As for the markers the artist uses, they are a category called "Squeezer" markers. These are refillable and give off a lot of ink as they are used.This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is a document from an authoritative source that verifies the authenticating value of the artwork. The certificate may be signed by the author of the artwork, by the representative gallery, or by the engraver who collaborated with the artist on the artwork.
The information that a certificate of authenticity usually includes is: name of the artist, details of the work (title, date, support, dimensions) and an image of it.
