Pedro Muiño (Irixoa-A Coruña, 1954) was interested in studying the classic masters from a very young age, and he maintained this interest over time, especially with Renaissance painters. He exhibited for the first time at the age of 17 and in 1984 he founded, with the artists Xavier Correa Corredoira and Pepe Galán, the Gruporzán collective, with a gallery of the same name where many of the Galician visual artists of that time exhibited. In this space, in addition to organizing exhibitions, graphic works were also published and cultural projects were designed for various institutions. He has lived and worked in Alicante for more than twenty years, after a year and a half stay in Catalonia.
