Biografía del Artista: Quique Sarzamora, born in Seville, is a leading contemporary artist whose work is distinguished by its conceptual depth and interdisciplinary exploration. His academic training includes a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville in 2015, followed by a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Artistic Production at the University of Malaga in 2017. Throughout his career, Sarzamora has sought to broaden his artistic horizons through a variety of additional educational experiences. These include his participation in the IV course on realism and figuration directed by the renowned artists Antonio López and Andrés G. Ibáñez in 2015, as well as his attendance at the creative workshop "Al Margen: Pintura y otras heterodoxias" taught by Chema Cobo at the CICUS in Seville in 2018. Sarzamora's work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. Some of her most notable solo exhibitions include "From the traditional image to the bodies of dawn" at the Antonio Gala Foundation in Córdoba in 2024, and "The colors of sunset prepare those of dawn" at the CAC Francisco Hernandez in Velez Málaga, also in 2024. In addition, he has participated in renowned group exhibitions, such as "XX Years of Creation at the Antonio Gala Foundation" at the Teatro Cómico Principal in Córdoba in 2023, and "Forest For The Threes´22" at RailSpur Seattle in 2022. Sarzamora's talent has been recognized with several awards throughout his career, including the prestigious 1st Prize for painting at the 3rd Young Creation Contest for Emerging Artists at the University of Loyola in 2021, as well as the 1st Prize "21 Days at the CAC" at Vélez Málaga in 2022. His work has also been acquired by important public and private collections, such as the Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Marchena in Seville, the Fundación Marqués de Guadalcanal, the Antonio Gala Foundation for young creators in Córdoba, the Universidad de Loyola in Seville, and the Las Navas del Selpillar Contemporary Art Collection in Córdoba, among others. Sarzamora continues to captivate audiences with his innovative artistic approach and commitment to constant exploration.
