Sfhir - Illegal Art)
Biografía del Artista:
Sfhir is a graffiti artist, urban artist, muralist, three-dimensionalist, experimentalist and many other isms. In a continuous search for perfection, he has experimented with a multitude of techniques, chiseling each detail in a laborious, almost obsessive way, to achieve the crudest hyperrealism. Dissecting reality and capturing it in a graphic, overwhelming way, through an acidic and, at times, bleeding filter, with themes as varied as nature, the human being or iconography related to the consumer society, has been and is his objective.
Through the Looking Glass addresses a reflection on identity in an intercommunicative game with the visitor. The characters in this series contemplate themselves in an introspective way. Is there a more intimate act than a human being observing his own reflection, modulating his gestures and deciphering himself? The mirror offers us a chimera: the promise of conceiving what another's gaze is like on us. Is there anything more shameful than being discovered observing us when we believe ourselves to be alone? The spectator participates as a voyeur subject, and in this attempt to read the other, he also reflects himself. A magical, narcissistic, sinister object, mirrors that we try to deceive, that return our own image to us in a merciless way, and that are unequivocal proof of our own consciousness. This artwork includes a certificate of authenticity.
