Biografía del Artista:Xavier Mascaró (France, 1965) is a French sculptor who studied at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, where he received a degree in painting. He began creating his first works in bronze in 1989, and in 1995 he began working in iron. Materials such as bronze, iron, resin and stone give his totemic and three-dimensional creations a disturbing character and make the viewer reflect on memory and tradition. He works on monumental works, some of which are installed in Ceutí (Murcia), Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) and Pinto (Madrid). Later he began to experiment with works in different materials, including leaded glass, resin and stone. Mascaró has had several solo exhibitions in Madrid, Málaga, London, Abu Dhabi, Mexico City, New York, Buenos Aires... and also collective exhibitions, such as Art Madrid, ARCO, Art Cologne, TEFAF, Bologna Arte Fiera, etc.
