The contemporary art fair ARCO will open its sixth Portuguese edition at the Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon on May 25. More than 86 national and international galleries will participate in this 2023 edition, whose artistic proposals will showcase the artistic creations of more than 470 artists.

3 + 1 Contemporary Art
Location: Largo Hintze Ribeiro 2E F, 1250-122 Lisbon
3 + 1 Arte Contemporânea , opened in February 2007, promotes the work of emerging and established Portuguese and international artists, whose works illustrate the diversity of contemporary artistic practice. The gallery has been committed since its inception to the evolution and development of its artists, focusing on the internationalisation of its programming and participation in art fairs.
Alarcon Raised
Location: C. Velarde, 9, 41001 Seville
The gallery gives priority to curatorial projects and artistic proposals of an innovative and experimental nature, promoting mainly contemporary artists from Europe and Latin America. The proposals of the Alarcón Criado Gallery cover a wide spectrum of production techniques (sculpture, painting, photography, video, site-specific installations, performance, collective actions) and attempt to promote artistic exploration through the interaction of different disciplines, such as flamenco.
Fernando Pradilla
Location: Claudio Coello Street, 20, 28001 Madrid
Opened in late 2001, the Fernando Pradilla Gallery aims to be a bridge for the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art in Latin America and Spain. Since its inception, the strategy has been based on the identification of artists, both emerging, mid-career and historical, and on the programming of individual and collective exhibitions in Madrid and other Latin American cities.
Joan of Aizpuru

A driving force and promoter of Spanish contemporary art since its foundation, first in Seville in 1970 and then in Madrid in 1983, the Juana de Aizpuru Gallery is dedicated to new international trends in contemporary art. The gallery has always stood out on the Spanish scene as a reference for quality in the artistic sector.
Leyendecker
Location: Rbla. de Sta. Cruz, 86, 38004 Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Leyendecker Gallery was founded on February 28, 1979 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife by Ángel Luis de la Cruz and Lele H. Colomer, with a program based on the representation and exhibition of significant international artists in the cultural scene of international avant-garde contemporary art.
Madragoa
Location: R. Navegantes 53A, 1200-730 Lisbon, Portugal
The gallery is based in the historic Madragoa neighbourhood of the Portuguese capital, which gives its name to the space itself. The gallery project seeks to establish a deep conversation with the city and its extraordinary potential, not only by representing Portuguese artists, but also by engaging in dialogue with artists from abroad. Madragoa opened on 28 April 2016 and has since supported ambitious productions by its artists.
Foreman

Mayoral is an art gallery founded in 1989 with offices in Barcelona and Paris. It offers an exhibition programme that ranges from post-war art to contemporary art with key artists of the 20th century. Miguel Nabinho

The Miguel Nabinho Gallery began in 2000 as a pioneering project: its exhibitions took place in spaces chosen by the artists themselves, so that the gallery space (which was not fixed) would be the most suitable place for the works on display. Today, the Miguel Nabinho Gallery has established itself as one of the most prominent contemporary art galleries in Portugal, representing some of the most important, influential and valuable Portuguese artists of the last 40 years.

Moses Perez de Albeniz

Founded in 1996 by Moisés Pérez de Albéniz, MPA Gallery has fostered the careers of a diverse group of nationally and internationally renowned artists, both emerging and established, working in multiple disciplines and across a variety of media. MPA Gallery represents artists from the United States, Europe and South America in Madrid through a dynamic global program.
Rafael Perez Hernando

The Rafael Pérez Hernando Gallery opened its doors in 2004, after beginning its activity in 1986. Today, the gallery's eclecticism and rigorous selection shape the exhibitions. Rocio Santa Cruz

The Rocio Santa Cruz Gallery , located in the centre of Barcelona, is a dynamic space for contemporary creation and thought in all its forms. Faithful to her career since 1994 in Paris, as an editor of artist books, Rocio Santa Cruz's approach is to focus on unpublished archives with the aim of generating a dialogue between the avant-garde movements of the second half of the 20th century and new contemporary practices, which is why the gallery is conceived as a place of experimentation.

Rosa Santos

The Rosa Santos Gallery opened in October 2003 and since then the gallery's programme has focused on contemporary visual art, showing special interest in the latest trends in painting, sculpture and drawing, as well as photography, video and installation.
Sabrina Amrani
Location: Calle de la Madera, 23, 28004 Madrid
Sabrina Amrani, a Frenchwoman of Algerian origin, opened the eponymous gallery based in Madrid in June 2011. The gallery represents artists from across the East and West, bridging cultural gaps and promoting dialogue and intellectual development through it.
