'From lost souls to strong spirits'

The Dutch artist Nanon Morsink, who has been living in the mountains of Málaga (in southern Spain) since 2017, is exhibiting for the first time at the Isolina Arbulú gallery. Nanon calls herself a multidisciplinary artist as she has always worked with various materials and techniques. However, her latest works have focused on the use of textiles. From various salvaged materials, the artist builds three-dimensional works linked to textile art.

The exhibition on display consists of more than 40 works, including an installation from 2014 alongside sculptures and paintings from the last year. The exhibition opens in the first room with two figures, two children made of wool and plastic who interact with each other, from their position of protagonism at the large entrance of the gallery, they appear indifferent to the world that surrounds them and observes them.
